Fair Trade Arts & Crafts

Here at Computers for Charities, we do not just send computers out to developing countries. We are also involved in many locations with the setting up and training of teachers and local project workers. It is whilst staying in these communities, often very remote regions, that we also encounter exceptionally talented Artists and Craft workers.

Tomi NdbeleThis site seeks to provide a link to enable such people to continue and develop there skills by providing an outlet for their materials. The talent and gifting speaks for itself, though few will be aware of the extreme conditions many of these live and work in...

In supporting these people, you not only gain a truly individual piece of work. You are also enabling the sustainability of a gift and skill...

Itai Vangani1Tomi Dbele (above) and Itai Vangani are examples. Itai working in Oils and Tomi in Pastels live in Zimbabwe and attended the Mzilikazi Art Centre in Bulawayo. Economic difficulities in the country, provide very few outlests or income for artists at this time.
